    Walked passed many many local cafes, looked at many gorgeous food items on display, but didn't like sitting outside in the steamer and watched by countless other tourist like animals in a zoo, dodged into this Starbucks and went upstairs to hide out in the most precious resource in Venice - AC. There were 2 staff called Ana, one is a cashier and the other is supervisory.  Both were helpful and able to converse in English.  The food there was local, forget about everything you see in the US.  I had a club sandwich!  It was good despite it might have sat there from morning until noonish when I ordered it.  From the display to the sandwich toaster, grilled until there was a crosshatch.  Cut in half and shared.  The bread was regular white bread size.  Costed only 7 Euro, it didn't have the raw ham but can't complain.   Separately ordered a raw ham croissant, that was small but it was good.  There was this melon pearl iced drink that I was told it was pretty good.  Not here in the US yet. There were power outlets everywhere upstairs.  The setting has a couple large tables for 5-6 and then lots of smaller table for 4 and then some small rectangular bar tables.  It has the best of the local Los Angeles store setups (regular plug + USB power, chairs, napkins, restroom, inside seating).  No refill, Starbucks App does not work- asked in detail with the Ana's.  DO NOT remotely think about half and half in your coffee.  Polizia might show up.  You won't find it either anywhere.  The tables were all bolted down to the floor.  The two lay back chairs upstairs were not recommended for it's low to the ground/hard to get up and lack the length to support your head weird low angle but you'd need to hold you head/neck strain.  Ground floor is extremely crowded because of the constant long line for the restroom. Americano was superior than the ones here.  Can't comment on the other drinks as I didn't try. One thing that is somewhere alarming but inescapable was the sewage smell that was Venice in hot weather.

    Very busy, love the fresha drinks. Toilets out of order but some available nearby which are clean. Service same as any Starbucks.

    A great stop if you’re searching for familiarity in an unfamiliar area, but there are other hidden gems to be found with a little searching. This place was ridiculously crowded and very chaotic because of that (not their fault, of course). Part of our drink order got stolen, so they had to remake them which took a while since they were so busy. But, there’s A/C, a free bathroom, and free ice water which in the summer is especially a bonus and rare in Europe!

    Mein Besuch bei Starbucks war insgesamt wirklich toll: Essen und Service haben mich komplett überzeugt, alles war super lecker und das Personal sehr freundlich. Leider kann ich dem Ambiente nur einen Stern geben – und zwar speziell im Bereich, wo man den Kaffee abholt. Dort hat Erik seinen Espresso auf den Boden fallen lassen, was die Stimmung deutlich getrübt hat. Ohne diesen kleinen Unfall wäre die Atmosphäre sicher viel angenehmer gewesen. Trotzdem komme ich wegen dem großartigen Essen und Service gerne wieder!

    The store was busy, it was clean and organized. They had all the normal cup options as well as Venice coffee mugs and Italy mugs. The workers were friendly and nice.

    Honestly and objectively: Coffee 5. Service 3. Total average 4 stars. Staff very slow, forgetful. Wasted a lot of time. Staff - improve!!! Onestamente e obiettivamente: caffè 5. Servizio 3. Media totale 4 stelle. Personale molto lento, smemorato. Abbiamo perso un sacco di tempo. Personale - migliorare!!!

    Good choice of sweet and savoury food along with some new drink options. Staff were friendly and spoke great English which was extremely helpful. Would definitely recommend.

    We found the Starbucks in Venice! They have Venice and Italy mugs, but only the Italy espresso cup ornament (they don't make a Venice one).
